What is an electronic sweep (TSCM)?
An electronic sweep, or TSCM (Technical Surveillance Countermeasures), is the technical inspection of environments, vehicles and devices to detect and locate bugs, wiretaps, microphones, radio-frequency transmitters and hidden cameras. SCS Detect has provided this service for 18 years in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasília.
How do I know if I am being monitored?
Common signs include leaks of confidential information, noise or interference on calls, fast phone battery drain and abnormal heating. Confirmation is only possible with a technical sweep using professional equipment such as ORION (NLJD), TALAN and SPECTRAN spectrum analyzers.
Do you detect powered-off devices?
Yes. We use non-linear junction detectors (NLJD ORION 2.4 HX) that locate electronic components through the physics of semiconductors, even when the device is off, has no battery or is only connected by wire — including inside walls, furniture and objects.
Can you analyze my phone for spyware?
Yes. We run anti-spyware sweeps on phones, tablets and laptops, with malware detection and data-packet analysis to identify monitoring software (such as stalkerware and espionage tools) that can expose your conversations and messages.
Is the sweep truly confidential?
Completely. We operate with our own servers, encrypted telephony and messaging, and can be reached through an encrypted channel. We work with anonymized cases and never expose our clients.
How long does it take and what do I receive?
The duration depends on the size and complexity of the environment. At the end you receive an executive report (clear, for decision-making) and a detailed technical report documenting the RF environment, the points inspected and any vulnerabilities found.

How often should I repeat the sweep?
For highly sensitive environments we recommend scheduled periodic sweeps (monthly or quarterly) and pre-meeting sweeps before critical gatherings, plus emergency response in case of suspicion.
